Most extension forms shape one side. Ours shapes both. A top form and a bottom form lock together around the nail, with lower side wing tabs that open the sidewalls so the gel makes full contact with the natural nail. You fill it, press it once, cure, and unlock — and the extension comes out with the C-curve, the apex, and a sealed underside already done. That's the sandwich: your nail and the gel, held from both sides while it cures.

Far less. The form leaves a smooth cured surface and a clean sidewall, so what's usually 15 minutes of shaping per hand becomes a quick refine at the cuticle line and the free edge. You'll still file to finish. You won't file to fix
